I smile when I see her car parked in my driveway. It’s a sight that I have to admit I wouldn’t mind seeing every day at some point in the future.

Silence greets me when I step inside the house. It’s nothing fancy but it’s mine. The ceilings are high in the ranch-style home, an open concept layout. Set just outside the city limits on a few acres, there’s an old red barn on the property I converted into a wood working shop a few years ago that I’ll miss like hell when I finally build on my other land. After complaining to my dad that I was desperate for hours of isolation after being surrounded by people at the bar, they encouraged me to take on a hobby. If I’m not at The Goat, I’m in my shop, building and creating furniture. Almost everything in my house has been made with my own two hands.

I smile and feel a sense of peace when I notice Olivia’s purse and laptop bag is sitting on the kitchen table. Something about seeing her stuff, especially things like her laptop that she needs for work, here in my home makes me feel at ease.

I grab a bottle of water out of the fridge, remove the lid and chug down half of it and replace the lid then toss my keys on the counter while continuing my way down the hallway. “Liv?”

“Yeah?” comes her voice from my bedroom.

I smile and pick up my pace. When I push open my bedroom door, I realize this is the sight I’d like to be greeted with every day.

“Did you build this?” During one of our phone calls, I talked to her about how much I love building furniture. The bed was here when she was last time, but I’m sure that now that she knows I built some of my own furniture, she probably walked into my house with different eyes. Seeking out the pieces that I built myself.

“You know I did.” I place the bottle of water on my dresser. Toeing off my boots, I kick them to the side. Reaching behind me and tugging off my shirt, tossing it to the floor without a care and get to work on my pants, boxers and socks. Liv’s eyes widen as she takes a slow perusal of my body. It’s nothing she hasn’t seen before so it’s sexy as hell that she’s looking at me now like it’s the first time.

I’m already getting hard just seeing her naked and laid out on my bed, slender fingers wrapped around the slats of the headboard. Bright white painted on her nails stands out against the dark stain on the wood. Creamy skin and dusky pink nipples. Her blonde hair splayed out around her on my dark gray sheets. Absolute beauty laid out before me – for me.

“I love it.” She licks her lips and focuses on my hand stroking myself. Up, down. Up, down. My grip tightens just slightly and
